Our sand beaches stretch for kilometres in length as well as broadness. We have the salty North Sea, as mild as a summer breeze and as rough as an autumn storm. We have the immense beautiful heather land and numerous small woods with wonderful walking and riding tracks.

Rømø is an island but an island you can reach without sailing - the Rømø dam connects this North Sea oasis with the mainland.

Plenty of activities
The unique scenery of the Wadden Sea, the child-friendly beaches and lots of activities invites vacation in a lovely holiday home or holiday apartment.

There are plenty of activities to choose between - whether you like riding, cycling or prefer a ride in the kitebuggy across the broad beach. As something quite new we can offer golf - with 9 holes in 2005 and 18 holes in 2006, the golf sport has come to stay.

We can offer exciting history, action as well as lots of natural experiences and with our "Træfpunkt" programme all children can return back home with wonderful memories of the summer holiday in Rømø.

Rømø all year round
During the year we can offer Jazz Festival, Harbour Festival, Sand Sculpture Festival and the traditional Kite Festival in September, among other things. Therefore, no matter what time of the year you choose to visit Rømø, we have something special to offer our guests.
