Nature at close range
The holiday home is the perfect setting, if you would like to experience Danish nature at close range. Usually, the holiday homes are in some of Denmark’s most scenic areas – typically close to dunes, heath, forest and plantation. When you hike through the Danish landscape, you will get nature experiences, exercise and a good time.

Hikes
It is an obvious choice to take a nice walk along the beach. The ocean, the waves, the dunes and the salty sea air are always quite an experience. But the hinterland is no less interesting. There are great hikes everywhere, either marked or described in brochures.

Nature reserves
Denmark has many protected nature reserves with hiking paths. Here, you can hike through bird sanctuaries, wetlands, dune heaths etc. By making a little noise as possible when hiking in the nature reserves, you show consideration for nature and increase the possibility of getting really close to animals and birds.
